I recently read a book called "towkay ho se boh", i believe it is only published in singapore as the language it use is simply mixtures of singlish and dialects. It is quite an interesting books writing about philosophies of business and how a boss behave and thought. There is this particular page that i like it very much and think is very meaningful especially for all the self employed and entrepreneurs outside there as well as my readers who happened to own their own business. In the book it mentioned, what is success? Success actually by looking from its chinese characters 成功(cheng gong) it can be easily interpreted. "Cheng" in chinese means completion while "gong" simply means job that you need to do. So by combining these two characters, success simply mean to complete whatever job that you have started as good as possible. Only by complete whatever you have started then you will reach success. Those that fail in whatever business they do might because they fail to give their best or else they give up half way. Ask any successful businessmen out there, which one of them never fail and face big critical in their business before. So in order to be a successful person, one must learn to complete whatever job or mission they have started as good as possible.
